My mom is giving me her mothers engagement ring, she told it is okay to restyle it to her taste. So i want to know how hard is it to find a ring setting that matchs what we want and a jewler that we can trust. What do i look for when shopping for the best possible work? thanks for any help

I'm not sure there's any way to give you a useful answer to this. It depends entirely on what it is that you want. Restyling is a common activity for most jewelers.
