white gold

I have a one and a half carat round diamond.It is in white gold and I am wondering if gold or white gold is more expensive.It is in a plan band and maybe you could give me a rough value of the ring.

There should be no difference in price between white gold and yellow gold.. White gold is simply yellow gold with a white alloy added to it to get to the carat weight (18k, 14k, 10k).. Since 14k white gold and 14k yellow goled each have an identical amount of 'gold' in them, the only differnce is the color of the alloy.. So, the price should stay the same..
