Seems like a high price

My girlfriend found a ring that she really likes and I am trying to get an idea if the price for this diamond is reasonable considering the following data.

.55 Carat
Clarity - I1
Color - E
Ideal Cut
Round diamond

They are asking for $1999 for the diamond. Is this a reasonable price. If not, what would the reasonable price be for this diamond. Thank you for all your help.

Not reasonable for an I1.

Also, any price ending with 999 is a red flag.
