3 Stone Ring Proportions

What is the perfect proportion for a three stone diamond ring. My center stone is 2.08 carats and I have another diamond that is 1.25 carats that I would like to match and use as side stones. But wanted to know if they may be too large proportionately.

Also, can you mix colors in a 3 stone ring without being very noticeable? The center stone is D and the other is F.
