i've been offered a 18k gold set band set with tapered diamonds of ivs2 quality - guaranteed weight of 0.92ct

it comes with a cert of authenticity form the gemmological information and valuation bureau(?)

it seems like lot sof smal diamonds in a band

i've been told it was valued at £1000 - but they will sel for £200

this is for my wife at xmas and she will know, i just dont want to diasppoint her

any advice people?
