I need your advice

This process is really confusing. I think we have found my engagement ring, so I need your advice.
After you have the 4 c's how important is everything else?
The ring that we found is a princess cut, 1.03 carat, clarity is VS1, color is E, polish and symmetry are good, girdle is extremely thin to very thick, depth 73.6%, table is 78% and the measurements are 5.60x5.41x3.98. The price is $6,500 and the ring is beautiful.
I can't help but wonder if there is something wrong with the ring, what about the girdle, I here because of this particular girdle the diamond can chip easily, is this true? Overall would this be a good purchase or a mistake.
