Is this an ideal cut diamond?
GIA graded princess cut
5.45x.538x3.99mm
1.04 carat weight
depth 74%
table 72%
girdle is medium to thick
cutlet none
polish is excellent
symmetry is good
calarity vvs2
color h

Based on the "Good" symmetry alone, that is not an Ideal cut diamond. Ideal means perfect or excellent symmetry, proportions and polish. The polish being least relevant to the appearance of the stone. You would also need more proportion information to determine if it were Ideal.

This is not to say it is not a beautiful diamond. Have you seen it?
