I am buying it online and want to make sure I am not being ripped off...

Basically by reading this do you think it will sparkle enough and is worth the money?

It will be set in a simple platinum mounting.

The proportions look very promising, the price certainly seems fair and you've stated the diamond has a GIA report. I doubt the diamond would disappoint, but if you're unsure ask the seller to provide you with photo's of the diamond and actual hands-on observation.
