I have a 2.5 carat round stone set with round channel set band. it is 6 prongs. i matched it with an eternity channel set band for my wedding band. i cannot wear the two bands together, however, b/c 1) the prongs on the diamond don't allow the wedding band to lie flush with the other band and 2) the wedding band is very thick.

any advice on what i can do? i wanted to wear the two rings on same hand but won't work. thanks.

It may be possible for a jeweler to change the shape of the side of the ring so that they fit together better without compromising the security of the stone. This will depend on the structure of both rings and would require an examination by a skilled jeweler to decide if this is feasable. Most will be happy to give you advice like this for free. Try to find a store with a shop on the site so you can speak directly with the jeweler and discuss the options.
