I am looking at a .95 Oval Cut Diamond, Excellent cut, G Color and SI2 Clarity, can you tell me what would be the average cost for a diamond like this?

Do you have any other info on the stone, GIA lab report, table, depth, polish, symmetry, fluorscence etc?

Sorry, I failed to mention it is GIA certified and will be purchased from a local wholesale jeweler.

I think many fail to realize how much cut grade, not shape, plays in the price of the diamond.

Hi,

Average prices are next to meaningless as it comes down to the specifics of each diamond.

Post the specs from the GIA report with the price.

This way, others can tell you if the price is in line with the specifics of that diamond.

That said, fancy cuts need to be seen in person as the beauty is not predictable from a lab report.
