I have a couple of choices in mind...both seem to be good deals, but perhaps I am not asking the correct questions. After seeing some other posts here, I wish I had more info to share to get a good opinion.

Option #1
Cut: Round
Carat: 2.14
Color: H
Clarity: VS2
Cost: $16,000

Option #2
Cut: Round
Carat: 1.61
Color: G
Clarity: S1
Cost: $11,500

I think the first is a good choice, a couple thousand above my budget, but perhaps worth it.

Can one of the experts out there shed some light on this? I believe Rapaport shows the first option to retail in the $25K range.
