Round cut, color H, and clarity VS2. how is this? Should I focus on a better color? Better color with S1 instead?

VS2 H is a nice color and clarity combination. Now just learn more about the Cut grade. That is how well a diamond sparkles. Cut is the most important of the 4 C's.

Focus on Cut which is often times regarded as the forgotten 5th C but is the most important "C", significantly affecting the other 4 C's of Color, Clarity, Carat Weight, and Cost.

The better the Cut of the diamond, the more light coming out of the diamond to your eye, and the 'whiter' and 'cleaner' it will appear to you. So in a very well cut stone you can go down to an I/SI-1 or SI-2, for example and go up in carat weight for the same money as the stone you are presently considering.

Do some Cut comparison shopping.

Actually the 4 c's are color, clarity, carat weight, and cut. I think the 5th C is cost. :)

But I agree cut is the most important of the 4 c's.
