Both diamonds are very similar otherwise. They are both Asscher style. Both have excellent symmetry and polish.

The first one is 1.11ct and has an extra facet

The second is 1.03 ct, and I have been able to see the GIA report yet.

That's a hard one because you only have color and clarity and nothing about the facet arrangement of the diamond. If you are buying sight unseen, I would ask for at least a picture of each stone. Polish and symmetry are ony finish grades and then you still have proportions to worry about. Here is an example of a well cut square emerald cut.

They are still very similar as far as other marks on GIA. The larger diamond has a table of 58 and thin to med girdle the smaller 53 table and slightly thik girdle.

another thought... have you physically examined these two diamonds? if so, which one looks more appealing to you?

both of these stones sound quite superb, as you probably inferred from my earlier comment.

Why not? Don't purchase site unseen. Even alot of the people on the internet can take a picture of what you would be getting. Also make sure you have an inspection period and a good return policy in case it isn't what you are looking for.
