First, I was wondering how hard it is to get the wedding band separated from the engagement ring. Then, I would like to sell the main diamond (emerald cut, .5 carat, color G, clarity VS). How hard is it to sell and where should I look for a buyer/seller? Should I try a consignment shop, or do jewelers look for used diamonds?

Truth is, selling used diamonds is very difficult. Don't expect to get a lot for them.
