hello everyone,
I wanted to buy a loose diamond from one store and I saw a setting from another store. I wanted to get the diamond on the setting all from a local jeweler but I dont know of any. Does anyone have any suggestions on wether this is a better method of doing it or should i just buy it all from one store.

Thanks,
Mo618

Some jewelers will balk at setting a diamond that you have purchased from another vendor. Not so much out of pique as their justified reluctance to take responsibility if something happens to your stone.

Preferable to get everything in one place.
