Hi...

I'm in the market for a diamond for an engagement ring. I've found one that really catches my eye, but I also want the highest quality for my money.

GIA Certified
1.01 Carat
6.39 - 6.46 x 4.00 mm
D Color
SI2 Clarity (inclusions are under the table)
Depth 62.3%
Table 58%
Girdle Medium to Slightly Thick, Faceted
Culet None
Polish Excellent
Symmety Very good
Fluoresence Strong Blue

The asking price is $5300. Is this reasonable? Also, the jeweler tells me it's a very good cut, but I'm not sure how to assess that independently. Is there any way I can do this before making the purchase? I'd be grateful for any help! Many thanks!

Assuming that the stone is certified by G.I.A,the stone is overpriced ,it should be around around $3,700.00 because it has strong blue,
If it didnot have any blue, with the ideal cut proprtions ,should be around $4300-4500k.
Stones with strng blue trade for less money than ones's that don't have it.
Somtimes strong blues or verystrong blues make the stones hazy looking.

go on different sites and check the web ,for similar stones.

if you want drop me an e-amil and I'll direct towards some

good luck
