How come a .98CT Round brill.Color I Clarity I2 is appraised at $2839
and yet a 1CT the same for everything else is appraised at $585?

Also a round brill. 1.5 CT Color: H Clarity:I1 cut: fair/poor is higher priced
than a color G or D?

Something about the diamonds you are considering doesn't make sense. How about posting full details for each diamond that you are comparing including a copy of the plotting diagram from the lab report so that the people monitoring the forums can provide you with a response based upon full details?

We would need to know the following:

Lab Graded: Yes / No, if so by whom?
Shape:
Measurements:
Total depth: %
Table diameter: %
Crown angle: (degrees)
Pavilion angle: (degrees)
Girdle thickness:
Culet size:
Polish:
Symmetry:
Keys to symbols:

Only with this type of information can anybody provide you with an accurate answer.
