When describing the diamond what does LUCIDA mean?
This person has a whole lot of solitaire diamonds up for auction
and some he has LUCIDA in the title. If you want to see for

It's a type of cut created and patented by Tiffany's.....

It's basically a princess cut with the corners cut off (such that there are 8 sides).

We bet that the attorneys for Tiffany & Co. Jewelers would be VERY interested to know that this jeweler is offering "Lucida solitaires" for sale with round brilliant cut center stones since a "Lucida" is their registered trademark for a square brilliant with bevelled corners as indicated by Fake2004. Looks like "somebody" is trying to pray upon the concept of confusion... Imagine the surprised look on some poor guy's face when he buys the "Lucida diamond engagement ring" that his fiance told him she wants and she opens the box and says "this isn't it..." not good...
