What is the general opinion on SI vs. VS diamonds? I was using VS2 as my cut-off, but I have seen some really good prices for SI1/2 diamonds.
Also, are G and H colors essentially the same? Again, I have noticed good deals with H.
I'm sure these have been asked a million times, but I would appreciate your help.

The difference between vs-si's ,could be real significant,If one can afford the vs quality I would highly reccommend the vs over the si's,There is such a big range of si quality stones ,which means that you might get one that is not to your likings as far as the inclusions are concerned.
The vs quality is usually not as pronanuced and its very unlikly that you would be able to see it with the naked eye,whreas in the si quality especially in si2 you might see the imerfection with the naked eye.
