My husband and I are having a "disagreement" about which ring goes on my finger first.
I say: Engagement ring first and then the wedding band. With the engagement ring "closest to my heart."
He says: The exact opposite. The wedding band first and then the engagement ring. With the wedding band "closest to my heart"
Sounds silly but..... can anyone provide feedback with documentation that it is correct, not just another opinion.

Actually he may be right. 
The weddingband goes closest to the heart.
