Hi,

I had heard that to be careful buying a ring with sidestones if it is intended for a small finger. I am looking to buy a ring of size 4.5 and was wondering if anyone has had any experience or recommendations concerning whether or not sidestones are a good idea for small fingers like this.

The reason for concern (so I've heard) is that in making adjustments to the ring, they will have to bend it significantly such that the sidestone diamond channel will get altered and potentially make the sidestones more susceptible to be lost.

Any advice? I've considered purchasing from BlueNile.com, but haven't seen any mention of this concern. Should I be concerned? Thanks for the help!
