I'm hoping someone can help us make this decision a little easier. We have found a ring we like and need to know if is is a good ring/deal.

Here's the info:
1 ct. t.w. Three emerald cut diamonds. 14kt. white gold
Center stone .4ct, side stones .3 ct. each
H-I color
SI 1-2
This ring is not certified (does this matter?) and the price is $2,299.00.
Any advise or information would greatly be appreciated. Thanks so much!

it sounds a little high for two .3ct and one .4ct stone, unless the setting is somehow spectacular! as far as the lack of certification, it is not usual to have a diamond certified if it weights < 1ct, and much less usual if < 0.5ct.

It's too high for the quality and size of the stones you have referred to. I'd shop around and find nicer ones. Also, if you like white gold, why not go for platinum? It's much better than white gold, and the ideal metal to mount precious stones in.
