Hi, I was wondering whether 4 or 6 prongs hold the round diamond solitaire safer. What are the pros and cons of 4 and 6 prongs?
Thanks

This is a common question. Six prongs are safer overall... but in platinum, set properly by a good benchman, the difference is negligible. Go for the look you want. They usually make the 4 prongs a little heavier anyway, to make up most of the difference. Just get either setting checks periodically, I would recommend annually.
