Recently I've visited a local jewelry shop to look for engagement ring. The sales lady has recommended the following diamond rings to me and said the love diamond is very famous and certified by IGI which has the same reputation as GIA.
0.78ct F VVS1 Good & Good (Cert. IGI) $6000 USD
0.84ct G VS1 Excellent and Excellent(Cert. GIA) $ 4000 USD
Q1) Have you heard of IGI and it is ture that IGI is as famous as GIA ?
Q2) If both IGI and GIA cert has stayed the Excellent in polish and cut, then should I buy the one with GIA cert of IGI cert ?
Q3) In the above quotes, which one do you recommend and also is the price reasonable ?
