I've been reading the discussions for quite some time, and now I'm hoping that I can get some help. I saw this over the weekend.
asking price is $7300. It looked very clean, and was easily better than many of the VS2's from a different shop.
GIA Cert - Round
measure - 7.4 - 7.48x4.31
1.37C
SI1
Color E
D-57.9, T 60%
girdle- VThin to Thin, faceted
polish & Sym - both good
culet - vs
Fluor - none
Does this seem like a good deal, or at least a fair price?
thanks

It sounds like a good price for the diamond. The only thing that would concern me is the girdle. Very thin to thin has the potential to have a durability problem. Imagine talking with your hands and hitting a solid countertop by accident, which alone could have the potential to break the stone. That said, if you are still stuck on that diamond, make sure it is fully insured and the policy includes language that protects you if the diamond does break. Good luck.

I dont like the depth of the stone you should stick to these parameters
d=59-62
t=53-60
girdle=thin-med.or med-stk
culet= none
polish g-vg
symm g-vg
flou= n-f
you are most likly to get a real baeuty if you stay within thes numbers
good luck
