What are the con's of buying a J colored stone? Will a little flourescence actually help the appearance of the stone? Will a J have any less fire or brilliance performance than a F/G?

i am not an expert but i asked a GIA gemologist the same questions when i was shopping. He said the color of the diamond is graded from the bottom of the stone, therefore not affecting light performance. He also said the flour. has to be pretty strong to counteract the yellowness. this strong fluor. increases the chance of the stone appearing milky. i went with an I color, no fluor., but b/c it is excellent cut it is beautiful......
